A college degree is by far the number one requirement by employers for hiring new people. Because of their corporate focus and structure they often look past many talented people who have the knowledge and common sense to do the job but not the paper certification. This is usually one setback for those with no college degree. Unlike a college degree, the internet levels the playing field. Its not about paper and course certification, but rather about common sense, some web marketing savvy, and basic computer and web knowledge. Earning money is no longer just something for students with a higher education. On the internet no one knows you don't hold a masters degree and honestly no one cares.

There are many available jobs that you don't require a college degree. Below is a list of some of those jobs that simply require common sense and basic knowledge of computers and the internet.

The pay can be very high as time progresses and the build a nice portfolio of original and unique articles. Make sure your articles have longevity and are not time sensitive, meaning write articles that people can read or use for decades to come. Another great tip to remember is this: If you are writing these articles for an article directory, do not place those articles on your own website if you do have one. Also use only the most reputable and high trafficed article directories online. They have revenue sharing programs where you can sign up and get paid for your articles.

You know what, one of the most lucrative and financially rewarding jobs not mentioned here is being an internet entrepreneur. With the ease and availability of cheap high speed internet and social media as a promotional and marketing tool. Anyone with a good idea can start their own website to provide useful information and advice to help others. In turn what they get is a loyal and large following of users that can help make them enormous revenue from advertising on their sites.

My cousin does hazardous waste management for a company in Queens and that didn't require a college degree. He had to go through a testing and training process for a few weeks though before he could get certified. he loves the job and it pays really well even without his bachelors degree. Those jobs that pay well without a degree are out there, you just have to look for them.

Hey don't forget about bartending. Many college students do that part-time and aspiring young actors and actresses do it too. Getting a bartending license is easy. It pays good money until you find something else that you wanna do like starting your own business.
