How to ring in new years in 2010How to ring in New Years eve in 2010 is simple. You can Go on vacation or throw one heck of a party. Here are types of parties to throw:

  1. Blue Moon party: the 2010 New Year will bring about a rare accourance in the night sky, a Blue Moon. Throw a Blue Moon party by decking your place in blue holiday lights and silverware in blue.
  2. Potluck party: everyone brings their own dish
  3. Kids party: have games, noise makers and kid friendlt dishes such as pizza and hotdogs.
  4. Midnight Feast: completely stock your party with elaborate dishes from different parts of the world.
  5. Low Budget party: If you can't afford the wine and food get some sparkling cider, play some music for your friends and get some microwaveable treats.
  6. Masquerade party: Have guests show up in a costume or homemade masks. Deck your place in mardi gras attire and your set to party.
  • Have a movie marathon
  • Camp out under the night stars to experience the 2010 Blue Moon (if it's not cold where you are).
  • Visit Times Square, New York City. Either through television or in person. But beware, it's snowing in New York on New years eve!
  • Sleep! Actually, that's not an option! Stay up for all the fesitivities. If you are alone this New Years get out of the house and invite yourself somewhere.
