Is Taylor Swift Too Successful Too Soon?

Is Taylor Swift Too Successful Too Soon?Is Taylor Swift too successful too soon? That's the question a few people have been asking, but by a few people we mean, a few old timers who might be feeling a touch of jealousy.

Wednesday , November 11th, 19 year old Swift became the youngest winner of country music's top award entertainer of the year, and was also showered with numerous other country music award recognitions.?

Faith Hill one of Swift's longtime idols doesn't seem to think Swift's success is too soon though. "I think she worked her tail off the last couple [of years] and she deserves to win," Hill told PEOPLE magazine Thursday.

Hill's  husband Tim McGraw also said, "I've been doing this a long time and she's got a better head on her shoulders than I do, so I don't know how anybody could complain about that."

Wynonna Judd of longtime mother daughter country music duo, The Judds, told USA Today that the teen's nomination for the prestigious award could be "too much of a good thing too soon." What was that? sounds like some serious hating going on. Jealousy does stir the emotions and create loose tongues it seems.

Judd later apologized to Swift in a note on her Web site, calling her "a beautiful, hard working young woman that deserves the success she has had."

Regardless, the verbal jab was thrown and now lands Judd in the same position where Faith Hill was when American Idol Carrie Underwood beat her out for the same award in previous CMA awards show. We remember the resounding "WHAT?!!" yelled by Hill and caught on camera when she realized she was beaten by newcomer and much younger Carrie Underwood. She too has since apologized.

Veteran Randy Travis also threw a little player hating in the ring too. He wondered if the award wasn't premature. "As a writer, she is a phenomenal talent," Travis told PEOPLE magazine. "When you look at the body of work that she has written at the age when she came into this business, it's remarkable. It really is. But do I think that entertainer of the year might have been a little early? In my opinion, yes, for whatever that's worth."

Wow, country music has a tight knit family but those two comments were just perhaps a little uncalled for. Swift has obviously worked her tail off for these awards. We see no favoritism here. Congrat are an order to Taylor Swift once again.
