Lady Gaga on Ellen Degeneres ShowLady Gaga has never been known to be the silent type. Her outgoing and over the top, and loveable personality is one reason she has such a huge fan base that crosses over to fans of multiple genres. On a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she Gaga tells her fans "It's OK" to be a freak.

Lady Gaga doesn't fit the typical pop star image, with her flamboyant outfits and stage persona. She admitted t0 finally feeling cool with being that kooky person after struggling for years to fit in.

She's has made no secret about how much she appreciates her fans. "The whole point of what I do — the Monster Ball, the music, the performance aspect of it — I want to create a space for my fans where they can feel free and they can celebrate," she said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". "I didn't fit in in high school, and I felt like a freak. So I like to create this atmosphere for my fans where they feel like they have a freak in me to hang out with and they don't feel alone."

Gaga said her whole stage and television persona is no gimmick, what you see is the real Gaga. She also rocked the Ellen stage with her hit singles "Bad Romance" and "Speechless" off her album The Fame Monster.

"This is really who I am, and it took a long time to be OK with that," she explained to Ellen. "Maybe in high school you, Ellen, you feel discriminated against. Like you don't fit in and you want to be like everyone else but not really, and in the inside you want to be like Boy George — well, I did anyway. So I want my fans to know that it's OK. Sometimes in life you don't always feel like a winner, but that doesn't mean you're not a winner. You want to be like yourself. ... I want my fans to know it's OK."

You go Gaga with your bad self. We love it!!

Don't you worry about a thing Gaga, I'm a fellow freak and love being one. Will never change. You are an inspiration to you outcasts like myself who society and popular people in school love to make the but of their jokes. We are all human beings and unique in our own special and individual ways. BTW love the new song Alejandro, it totally rocks, and yes its reminiscent of Ace of Base, but how many famous artist today do any of you know who wasn't influenced by the sounds of other great and earlier musicians. Remember Blink-182, they were like the Ramones reborned, Lenny Kravitz is like a spinoff of Jimmy Hendrix, All the Great bubble gum pop bands and solo artist like Britney Spears, Nsync, Usher, Justin Timberlake are all influenced by Michael Jackson. There's nothing wrong with the sound of Gaga's new song.

OK so nobody loves Lady Gaga as much as I do, solely because of her courage to stand up against her critics and fight for gay rights. I also love her originality and whacky sense of fashion. What I don't like though is how much her new song Alejandro sounds so eerily similar to Ace of Base Don't Turn Around. I love Gaga and the song sounds great, but I'm not too thrilled about the extreeeeeeeemel y close similarities between the two songs.
