Taylor Lautner Will Transform From Werewolf To Superpowered Max Steel

Taylor Lautner has become the go to guy when you need an impressive transformation of character. The teen heartthrob is once again remaking himself to go from Jacob's werewolf in the blockbuster Twilight to Mattel's notorious superhero Max Steel.
Lautner has proven he can be pretty tough, as seen by his impressive physique and display of athleticism in New Moon, the second Twilight saga. But the young star's likely next role is a guy who can really take care of himself and lay you to rest if you get in his way.
Paramount gave the green light to make Lautner, 17 the next Max Steel. If you don't follow the world of superheroes, Max Steel is an animated superhero and action figure from Mattel, the same company that marketed the Transformers toyline from the 80's hit cartoon to the feature blockbuster films starring Shia Labeauf and Megan Fox.
Lautner, bears a striking resemblance to Max Steel's CGI version which helps his casting. He was very impressed with the character, who gets his powers from being infected with microscopic "nano-machines" and drinking "T-juice." If that sounds a little other-worldly, don't beat yourself up, most people have the same reaction.
Lautner is "committed to the role," but no one has yet to sign on as director and there's no set date for release. This high impact action flick might no doubt catapult him to even bigger and more lucrative roles. Remember Taylor in Sharkboy and Lava Girl? He's definitely come a long way.
