Here's something for you hardcore gamers. Brutal Legend  is out, yes thats the actual name and Jack Black is spectacular as Eddie Riggs, heavy metal band roadie turned metal hero fighter.

 Its easily one of the funniest and best video games I've played all year and it provides something we don't find often enough in the gaming industry: a unique experience. Its called Brutal Legend, and he plays a rodie for a very bad pop-metal band. He has a magical belt buckle that when he has an accident, blood mixes with it and carries him to the world of metal.

Its this amazing looking realm thats based on the world of heavy metal mythology shown on  heavy metal album covers. There are  crazy mountains of skulls, sexy nurses, hot rods and Eddie Riggs has an adventure trying to organize  a group of humans to fight off demons. Because he's a rodie and knows how to organize things, he's the best suited man for the job.

Besides Jack Black's character, there are also smaller featured stars like Ozzie Osbourne, Lemmy from motorhead, and  comedians like Brian Posehn. Eddie Riggs is more angular and more muscular built as compared to Jack Black but whats cool about the game is that its more stylized with the look of a cartoon targeted at adults. It adds to the fun of the game which is exploring this amazing imaginative environment and meeting up withreally curious characters you encounter.

 Bottom line here is simple. Play this game and you'll remember why you liked video games in the first place. They're great to play when you have a fun story with good human interaction.
