New Online Games Banish Sarah Palin and Megan Fox To Hell

Online Game banishes Megan Fox and Sarah Palin to HellRemember Dante's Inferno from your high school english literature class? Well it seems game maker Electronic Arts is bringing it back, and to get you prepped for another journey through hell, they've created two Facebook applications that give you the online gamer the ability to banish anyone to hell.

The EA Facebook app called "Go To Hell" allows Facebook members the chance to send you or someone who utterly annoys them to any level of hell, and once there that person can be further tortured or saved by other users playing the game. So far users are having a great time banishing and punishing famous pop culture faces like former Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. They also especially love to banish and torture "Transformers" beauty Megan Fox.

The second Facebook app, called "Battle of the Damned," allows players to advance through consecutive levels of hell in a mission to go head to head with the big boss, Lucifer himself.

EA hopes that by employing social media to gain users attention, they'll create a bigger marketing buzz leading up to the release of "Dantes Inferno." The video game features and documents different levels of the seven deadly sins as you travel through hell, and obviously there will be a few dreadful obstacles to overcome as you encounter each deadly sin.

Since the Facebook applications' release, gamers have banished 9,600 damned souls  to hell. The game maker itself has become a candidate for banishment and torture.

“Dante’s Inferno” will be released on February 5 in North America and February 12 in Asia for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game is rated M (blood and gore, intense violence, nudity, sexual content).
