Actress Britney Murphy Dies at 32

Brittany Murphy died early this morning at the Los Angeles home of her husband. The 32 year old actress was found by her mother laying unconscious in her shower prompting her to call 911.
Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Her mother told paramedics that Murphy had a history of diabetes, which was not officially confirmed.
Murphy's mother made the 911 call at 8:00 AM from her husband Simon Monjack's LA home according to the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
Britney Murphy's film and TV credits included starring roles in "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word." She also played the voice of Gloria in the animated movie, "Happy Feet", and had a role in the movie "Sin City."
According to various media reports, the very hard to work with actress was fired from a film being shot in Puerto Rico. Her agent denied the reports and told OK Magazine the parting was mutual. Murphy is now one of several dead celebrities who's passing came so unexpectedly in 2009.
