Avenged Sevenfold Drummer James Sullivan Dies at 28

Avenged Sevenfold drummer, James Sullivan, died on Monday, December 29th, at the age of 28.
According to Orange County authorities, the cause of death is still under investigation. James was found unresponsive inside his home.
Posted on the group's website the band members write, "It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time."
The rock band's electic brand of music have spurred a cult following since their first hit in 2005. In 2006 they were named Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music awards.
Avenged Sevenfold fans have flooded their social media sites with comments of remource and love. It will be hard to replace "The Rev" and the sound he brought to the band. "Dear God," a song from their 2007 release says it all.
