Young entrepreneur Becky Stockbridge was in her last year at  University of Southern Maine when she drafted a business proposal to launch a Web and graphic design business that caters to medical professionals. She  was also a part of a group that needed logos, brochures, and informative Web sites. In 2006 she landed a $4,200 grant from the Libra Future Funds, a group based in the state of Maine that helps entrepreneurs under 25. The Maine Center for Enterprise Development also donated free office space for one year to Stockbridge.

Stockbridge found out though that there were many roadblocks that made it difficult to get through to the decision-makers in medical practices. During this stumbling block period, Stockbridge started designing Web sites and logos for other small businesses. By 2007, she was bringing in more business clients than medical clients, so decided to switch her target client focus. In 2008 the Five person team at IBec Creative generated about $225,000 in revenue and Becky Stockbridge projected $350,000 for 2009.

this girl Becky Stockridge is really close to becoming a young millionaire graphic designer. That's pretty good income to be running a graphics and web design business. She would do well though to expand upon the business model, since web design is so strenous.

Wow making that much money doing web design? I knew some web design guys and they're not making anywhere near that. She must have some good people skills.
